Disability Services Program

DSP is dedicated to giving students with disabilities an equal opportunity to participate in the University’s programs, courses and activities. DSP provides accommodations at no cost to any student who has a documented disability as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. Accommodations are designed to afford students equal opportunity to participate in the University's programs, courses, and activities.

Scheduling a Remote Appointment with

The DSP staff are still here to support students, faculty and staff with accommodation request review, implementation support and general information. We will be available remotely during the Summer 2020 term. Our main reception desk is available virtually as are our Accommodation Specialists. You can reach us via phone, email, and scheduled online Zoom appointments.

Call, Schedule a Phone or Zoom (Video Conferencing) Appointment with DSP:

  • If you are already working with DSP, you can schedule an appointment with an Accommodation Specialist by logging into ClockWork and selecting Schedule an Appointment.
    • Indicate your preference – phone or video appointment - in the comment section. Make sure you include your phone number or email address.
  • You can also call 303-871-3241 Monday- Friday 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. (Mountain time) or email dsp@visoka-sola.com for assistance scheduling an appointment.

What is Considered a Disability?

足球直播比分A disability is a condition that substantially limits "major life activity," such as walking, hearing, seeing, speaking, breathing, or learning. ADA laws protect:

  • Visual impairments (legally blind, progressive vision loss, etc.)
  • Deaf or hard of hearing
  • Mental/Emotional health conditions (depression, anxiety, bipolar, OCD, personality disorders, etc.)
  • Learning disabilities
  • ADD/ADHD
  • Brain injuries, epilepsy
  • Autism, Asperger's Syndrome
  • Mobility (paraplegia, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, etc.)
  • Other (cancer, diabetes, food allergies, etc.)
